about

I've been working on Me & My Mathematician for almost a year and a half. The song is a metaphor about the relationship between me and a math teacher over the course of a year, as we take turns teaching and learning from one another about the flow of life. The math teacher herself isn't composed of anything fixed; rather, she's an amalgamation created out of my relationship with myself, the largely benevolent spirit world, and those I've encountered along the way. I hope you enjoy it. It's also the only song on this album recorded in our traditional, stripped down Piano / Violin / Drums format.
